High style dining for UNWA’s first gathering of the New Year
An epicurean luncheon for 26 UNWA members and guests at the Prima Italian Bistro on top of the Radisson Hotel featured wonderful table talk and skyline views between courses. The baked melanzini encased with basil, mozzarella, crushed Napoli and sautéed spinach was a meal in itself. For the main course, a majority selected the grilled Norwegian salmon steaks prepared on a bed of organic salad with walnuts, orange pieces and new potatoes. But we all marveled at the tender braised lamb cutlets and porcini wild rice risotta for the second choice. The finalé was a splendid chocolate cup of three liquor tiramisu with fresh brewed coffee or tea.This was Elley May’s last meeting and we wish her all the best.
